INEC concludes Continuous Voter Registration on 7th Sept



The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), will conclude it Continuous Voter Registration exercise in Kogi and Bayelsa States on the 7th of september.
INEC Said the essence of the  six  day  Continuous Voter Registration was for three groups of eligible electorates to register and be able to vote in the elections.
These  group of people are those who were eligible but did not register before the 2015 general elections, those who are eligible but whose names are not on the voters’ register and those who have attained the age of 18 years since the last voter registration exercise.
The Commission had asked voters to go to their local government areas where it is expected that the exercise would commence everyday during the scheduled six days of the exercise from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
The election in Kogi State has been scheduled for Saturday, November 21
