Kogi state governor
captain idris wada has officially flag off the N4.6 billion naira grade
separation interchange project popularly called fly over bridge at ganaja
junction lokoja.
Governor wada while
flagging off the project urged the contractor Tec engineering Nigeria limited
to adhere to the terms of contract guiding the project
Captain wada, while
flagging off the construction of the project said the long awaited fly over
bridge will ease traffic gridlock within and out the state.
Governor wada stated
reasons why the project was delayed.
While charging the
state ministry of work to step up in its supervision network to ensure the
objective of the project is achieved, captain wada appealed to resident and
commuters to show a great deal of understanding with the contractors for easy
completion of the fly over bridge.
Early, the State
commissioner for work Godwin Onama explained that, when the project is
completed, it will give room for free flow of traffic in lokoja metropolis,
improve social economic activities.
The project which
was awarded to Tec engineering Nigeria limited is expected to be completed
within 18 month
