Gombe Assembly to review its laws on environment


The Gombe State House of Assembly is to review its laws on the environment in line with global standards.


The Chairman, House Committee on Water Resources and Environment and Member representing Billiri East, Mr. Rambi Ayala, who stated this to Radio Nigeria said, reviewing the laws would discourage people from damaging the environment.

On the issue of water supply, the Chairman said, his Committee would ensure that, the people of the state have access to portable drinking water through water born pipes and boreholes.

Mr. Rambi assured a better representation to the people of his constituency in the Assembly and urged them to always pray for the success of the governments at all level.
