Police confirm abduction of 3 housewives in Zaria

The Kaduna State Police Command, on Thursday confirmed the kidnap of three housewives at Dorayi village in Zaria Local Government Area of the state.

The command's spokesman, DSP Zubairu Abubakar, in Kaduna said that the women were kidnapped on Sunday.

Man to serve 8 years in jail for rape

An Egor Magistrates’ Court in Benin on Thursday jailed a 24-year-old Man, Jolly Agbontaen, to eight years imprisonment for raping a 23-year-old girl.

The prosecutor, ASP Osas Osarentin, had earlier told the Court that the accused was arraigned on a three-count charge of rape, stealing and assault.
