FIDA in Ilorin blames high rate of divorce cases on economic recession

Hajia Iyabo Salmot-Mohammed, the Chairperson of lnternational Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) in Kwara, has blamed the current recession in the country for the high rate of divorce cases.

FIDA Nigeria marks International Day of the Girl Child, October 11, 2016


FIDA Nigeria  joins the rest of the world to mark the International Day of the Girl Child, 2016 with the theme “Girls’ Progress = Goals’ Progress: A Global Girl Data Movement”. We join the world in focusing our attention on the need to address the gender inequalities that the Nigerian girl child faces. We advocate for increased efforts in empowerment of the girl child and creation of awareness on the importance of protecting the rights of the girl child.
