FIDA in Ilorin blames high rate of divorce cases on economic recession

Hajia Iyabo Salmot-Mohammed, the Chairperson of lnternational Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) in Kwara, has blamed the current recession in the country for the high rate of divorce cases.

Female lawyers advocate creation of rape crisis centres

Some female lawyers in Abuja have advised the Federal Government to create rape crisis centres, counselling service and other victims assistance agency as measures to address the menace of rape.

The lawyers gave the advice in separate interviews in Abuja.
