Gov Yahaya Bello ‘Starves’ Deputy Of Salary, Other Benefits, Kogi Senator Alleges

The Senator representing Kogi East, Attai Idoko, has accused the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello,  of starving his deputy, Simon Achuba, of his salary and other benefits for over a year.

This claim was made on the floor of the Senate on Wednesday. While frowning at the plight of Civil Servants in kogi state, the senator urge the senate to save the people of kogi by not allowing the governor secure loans of over $500 million about N180 billion from the United Arab Emirates.

This was sequel to a motion raised by Senator Dino Melaye, who also pointed out that the State is already indebted to the sum of N40 billion.
